Terms of Service

Grapefruit helps you log food by text, photo, barcode, or voice; estimates calories, macronutrients, and micronutrients; and tracks your menstrual cycle and symptom check-ins so your nutrition is shown in the context of your cycle.

Grapefruit provides estimates and general wellness information only. Nutrition and cycle insights are approximations, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment. Grapefruit is not a fertility or contraception tool. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet or making health decisions — especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.

You can use much of Grapefruit without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for the activity under it. You may delete your account and its data at any time in the app under Profile → Account → Delete account.

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access another user’s data, disrupting the service, or using it for unlawful purposes.

You retain ownership of the food logs, photos, and other content you submit. You grant us the limited permission needed to process that content to provide the service to you.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grapefruit Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on estimates the app provides.

We may update these terms as the service changes; the current version is always posted here.
